Why should you register your idea?
In principle you cannot register an idea. But if you have significantly worked out your idea and it is unique then you can register it. If your idea is registered we can provide evidence of this to anyone who copies it, or a lawyer or judge worldwide.
Tips for the registration of your idea:
- An idea containing only a few sentences is worthless. Work your idea completely out.
- To not tell anyone about your idea before it is registered.
- Register your idea from the very moment you thought of it - and every time you add new information to it.
- If you have made a physical model of your idea, take a number of photos of this and register them immediately.
- You should register all drawings and concepts connected to your idea.
- If your idea is copied contact File-Reg immediately.
